Welcome

Uniting people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) with families, friends, and allies, PFLAG is committed to advancing equality through its mission of support, education, and advocacy.

SUPPORT – EDUCATION – ADVOCACY

We provide SUPPORT in a confidential setting at our monthly meetings. One of our primary objectives is to maintain families in loving relationships. We challenge any concept of traditional family values that excludes our LGBTQ loved ones. We further aim to promote the understanding of LGBTQ people as healthy, normal, responsible, productive, loving and caring human beings.

We EDUCATE our community to promote greater acceptance and respect for LGBTQ persons.

We ADVOCATE in a grassroots fashion for equal rights – not special rights – for our relatives and friends.

Your confidentiality is assured.

Monthly Support Meetings

**WE'RE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE'RE MEETING IN PERSON AGAIN!**
The second Tuesday of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m at the main Sedona Public Library: 3250 White Bear Rd in Sedona.

To extend our outreach, our meetings are now hybrid in-person and via Zoom, the second Tuesday of each month, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Upcoming Meeting

Please join us at our upcoming PFLAG Sedona/Verde Valley Support Meeting on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at the Sedona Public Library (3250 White Bear Road, Sedona) and on Zoom.  The Zoom link is noted below.

We are excited to have Rebecca Osier, the One n Ten Cottonwood Satellite Coordinator, as our speaker.   Rebecca has always been passionate about community work, specifically with the intersection of working with teens and providing a safe and inclusive space for teens.

Rebecca has lived in the Northern Arizona region her entire life, and now resides in Munds Park (outside of Flagstaff). She received both her Bachelors and Masters in Social Work from Northern Arizona University.  After graduating, Rebecca worked in a local domestic violence shelter as Community Education Program Coordinator, where she provided relationship violence prevention education to teenagers in the area.

Rebecca loves to thrift and spend quality time with her family which includes her partner, their ten-month-old child and dog.  Rebecca says, “You can almost always find me and my family in the forest, in a coffee shop, or traveling!”

After the presentation, we will have our usual support group at 7:30 PM.  As always, you may attend the first hour, second hour, or both.

Both the presentation at 6:30 and the support meeting at 7:30 will use the following Zoom links:
