Welcome

Uniting people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) with families, friends, and allies, PFLAG is committed to advancing equality through its mission of support, education, and advocacy.

SUPPORT – EDUCATION – ADVOCACY

We provide SUPPORT in a confidential setting at our monthly meetings. One of our primary objectives is to maintain families in loving relationships. We challenge any concept of traditional family values that excludes our LGBTQ loved ones. We further aim to promote the understanding of LGBTQ people as healthy, normal, responsible, productive, loving and caring human beings.

We EDUCATE our community to promote greater acceptance and respect for LGBTQ persons.

We ADVOCATE in a grassroots fashion for equal rights – not special rights – for our relatives and friends.

Your confidentiality is assured.

Monthly Support Meetings

We meet the second Tuesday of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m in The New Room of Sedona United Methodist Church (110 Indian Cliffs Road, Sedona) and on Zoom. A map is attached below.

Upcoming Meeting

We invite you to our next Support and Education meeting on Tuesday, July 14th, at 6:30 p.m.  The meeting will be held at the Sedona United Methodist Church, New Room, located at 110 Indian Cliffs Road in Sedona.

Kristen Paduchowski is the Marketing and Operations Director for the Sedona Community Center, and also runs the Meals on Wheels Program.

Kristen moved to Sedona 7 years ago to care for her father following the losses of her mother and her partner.  Tragedy – the kind one never imagines – struck her family in June 2024 when Kristen’s brother murdered his wife Kelly Paduchowski.  The impacts on Kelly’s and Kristen’s families, including Kelly’s two young children and identical twin sister Lindsay, have been painfully and sensitively navigated as the two-year remembrance of Kelly’s murder nears.  The aftermath was sharply marked in February 2026, when Kristen’s father, Donald “Don” Paduchowski, much loved in this community, ended his life.

Kristen first spoke briefly about Kelly at the opening night of “Silence Is Not Golden”, a production by Camilla Ross about domestic violence.  She returns as PFLAG’s guest presenter to speak more fully on the challenges and triumphs of facing intense personal tragedy in the midst of living in difficult times.

Hope to see you there!

Both the presentation at 6:30 and the support meeting at 7:30 will use the following connection information:
