Lydia Munoz Johnson will be the featured speaker at the upcoming Monday, November 9, 2015 support meeting of PFLAG Sedona/Verde Valley. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of the Red Rocks, 54 Bowstring Drive in Sedona, in the Painted Cliffs Hall. Ms. Johnson is a former beauty industry teacher and entrepreneur, in addition to being a wife, mother and grandmother. For more than three decades, Lydia has helped women see their beauty both inside and out. Lydia is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist serving clients at The Wellness Center at The Lodge at Sedona and also privately.
Lydia will be sharing the story of a ten-minute car ride that forever changed her life. “My youngest son, Travis, and I were riding in my car, traveling from a friend’s home in the early evening. I looked at him in my rear view mirror and I saw uneasiness and fear in his eyes. I asked him what was bothering him. The next words out of his mouth were ‘Mom, I think my Dad is gay.’” Come hear Lydia share how she moved from shock and disbelief on a journey of discovery, acceptance and the healing challenges that presented to Lydia and her family. All our invited and welcome to attend.
Hope to see you there!
